Regular cleaning: By regularly vacuuming your area rug, you can help to ensure that it lasts for an extended period. Vacuuming daily or every couple of days can help to remove dirt, dust, and other debris from your area rug.
Shag-type rugs: For these types of rugs, care must be taken when vacuuming to ensure damage does not occur. With these long yarns, the vacuum beater bars can pull in the material causing damage. We recommend removing the beater bar when vacuuming shag-type rugs.
Professional cleaning: You may opt for a professional cleaning if your rug is older and needs extra help.

When it comes to area rug spills, the key is to act fast. We recommend that you clean food and beverage spills immediately. First, blot with a clean cloth, then spot clean with a manufacturer-approved solution. Act fast and do not panic!
